Greetings! |
|
Welcome to the official website of the Spring Creek
Singers. We are a Northern style American Indian powwow drum
originally from the Rose Bud Sioux Indian Reservation in South Dakota.
Some of the singers are also from other tribes like the Blackfoot,
Cherokee, and Tuscarora Nations. The lead singer, Dave White Buffalo,
spends some time out on the East Coast from the Rose Bud reservation
touring on the powwow circuit.

Mission: |

The mission of Spring Creek Signers is to preserve,
record, and teach to Indian youth traditional songs. Additionally,
Spring Creek Singers wishes to share the culture with our non-native
neighbors and enrich their understanding of the American Indian culture.
|
| |
Services: |
|
Spring Creek Singers can sing authentic traditional
American Indian powwow and Iroquois social dance songs for powwows and
educational purposes. The drum is available for powwows, gatherings,
special functions, or cultural activities for the annual National
American Indian Heritage Month Observance in November.
