Explanation of the Cassette Jacket Artwork

The Spring Creek Singers have a cassette tape available through the label Sunshine Records. The artwork on the jacket of the cassette tape is the artwork originally painted on the buffalo hide used for the powwow drum. The lead singer is from the White Buffalo family. The White Buffalo is a sign of the passing of a Lakota prophecy of the White Buffalo Calf Woman. Click here to learn more. In addition to the White Buffalo, a Bald Eagle is soaring in flight. As many people know, the Eagle holds a special spiritual and religious significance to American Indian people.
