To the Memory of
Over the years, The Great Peace/Great Law has suffered some significant losses. Those losses are the people who had a comprehensive understanding of The Great Peace. The knowledge they carried is irreplaceable and with each loss, some of our culture goes with them. One such individual was Cayuga Confederacy Chief, Jacob E. Thomas. For many years, his diligent efforts helped our people to retain much of their culture. He even provided a way for those who do not understand the Native language, to study and realize the message The Great Peace conveys. For this reason, we dedicate The Great Peace-The Gathering of Good Minds CD-ROM to Chief Jacob E. Thomas, and to the many individuals before him who dedicated their lives to preserving The Great Peace. We also dedicate this work to all the people who endeavor to keep The Great Peace alive today. We heartily extend our eternal gratitude to them all.
